The Maritime Safety and Weather Technology Conference will take place in Banyuwangi, Indonesia, on August 19, 2026. at the Ketapang Indah hotel, Speakers will discuss how maritime weather events have changed with climate change, the impact on maritime safety, and technologies for maritime weather detection for the benefit of seafarers.

This conference is being convened by the Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi (Polywangi) and the Worldwide Ferry Safety Association (WFSA).in collaboration with the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency of Indonesia) (BMKG).
