The Worldwide Ferry Safety Association is an international non-profit organization based in New York City.  We work in partnership with Interferry and the International Maritime Organization (IMO); sponsor an international student design competition for safe affordable ferries, and are working with partners in Indonesia to improve detection and communication of sudden hazardous weather in the upcoming immediate time.   We also commission student research on topics that are critical to improving the effectiveness of our efforts.
